28.08.11. Hello. It feels great to be back on this page after a two week absence. I have got some exhibitions coming up in September 2011 and in the coming days starting today, I will be posting about them. :-).
I am excited to say that my Illustrated letters project is one of the artworks that will be shown at the African & African- Caribbean Design Diaspora 2011 Festival in London, England from the 9 - 25 September 2011.
"This is the first time in its entire history that the London design scene will host such a comprehensive showcase of unique multi-disciplinary black talent with more than one hundred submissions from the UK, Africa, the Caribbean, the USA, Canada, Japan and Europe". :-).

Phil Wall loves to doodle on photos so I gave him one (image above) to spread his doodle magic on and he came up with this super hero inspired doodle titled "Monsterous Powers":
Phil had this to say about the doodle: "I like to think the monster was 'playing superhero' and crashed legs first into the building, accidentally firing his laser eyes on impact...something like that".

6.08.11 Yesterday 5th August was my birthday and Jason McDonald made a drawing for me (image above). I met Jason last year on Twitter at the beginning of my Daily drawing challenge and I immediatley got drawn to his fluid drawing style and his desire to apply his drawings to functional objects.

06.06.2011. I created a drawing for 2011's World Drawing Day. The day was the 4th of June and this was what I drew(image above). Done using Posca markers for the lines and Photoshop for the colours. My Drawing day images from 2010 can be seen here.
